What you are living is not a breakdown.
It is a dissolution — and insight alone was never going to be enough to navigate it.

Belly Up Private Immersion

The Belly Up Private Immersion is a private 3-month 1:1 experience for women who can feel that an old identity, role, relationship pattern, or way of living is no longer holding — but who do not yet know how to move through what is unfolding. Together, we map the phase you are in, identify the wound patterns and protective loops being activated, support your nervous system, and help the truer life beneath the disruption begin to stabilize. This is for the woman who does not need more information. She needs skilled, steady guidance while the change is actually happening.

Is this where you are?

This work may support you if you are moving through…

A divorce, separation, or relationship ending that has changed not only your circumstances, but your sense of self.

A season where the role you have carried for years no longer fits, and the new one has not yet arrived.

Old wounds, protective patterns, grief, fear, anger, or emotional exhaustion resurfacing in ways you cannot ignore.

A professional, relational, or spiritual transition that has shaken your identity, confidence, or sense of direction.

The aftermath of years of self-work, therapy, healing, or spiritual practice — and still feeling that something deeper is asking to be met.

A quiet but undeniable knowing that the life you built can no longer be lived from the same inner place.

What often sits underneath this season

01The life you built — the roles you have held, the version of yourself you have been performing — has started to feel like it belongs to someone you are outgrowing. You can feel it even when you cannot explain it.
02You have done the self-work. You have language, insight, even years of therapy. And none of it is touching what is happening now.
03You are tired of being told to move forward. Something in you knows that what is being asked right now is to go through — not around.
04Old wounds and patterns are surfacing in ways that are making this season harder than it needs to be. You can see them. You just cannot seem to get underneath them alone.
05You don’t want to rebuild your life from the same place. You want to come out of this more honest with yourself — clearer about what you actually need, what you no longer want to carry, and who you are outside of what you were conditioned to be.
06You know this is a metamorphosis, not a mood. And you don’t want to move through it without someone who has worked with this specific kind of change for decades — and who can help you navigate it with intelligence, not just compassion.

…then this work was made for you.

The reason nothing has resolved

When you are in a loop, you cannot solve it from inside its own logic.

There is a specific experience that brings women to this work — and it is not crisis. It is exhaustion from circling.

You have done the work. You have tried therapy, coaching, emotional regulation, spiritual practice — sometimes all of them. And something shifts, briefly. Then you find yourself back in the same emotional territory, the same patterns, the same questions. Not because you haven’t tried hard enough. Because what you are in has its own architecture — and it cannot be resolved with the same tools that built it.

The Loop
Fear that moves into action, action that fails, failure that generates more fear
Insight that produces temporary relief, then collapse, then seeking again
Progress that always circles back to the same unresolved place

The loop is not a personal failure. It is a structural phenomenon — and it requires someone who can see it from the outside, name what is sustaining it, and help you step out of its logic entirely.

This is one of the most concrete things this work does.

When the loop breaks, metamorphosis can actually move.

What begins to change when you are supported inside the process:

“I can’t stop the spiral. I don’t know how to get through the waves.”

One of the first things we work on together is your ability to regulate your own nervous system — not through willpower, but through therapeutic and energy psychology tools that actually interrupt the cycle. You will leave each session with practices you can use on your own, in real time.

“I have tried so many things. I keep ending up in the same place.”

When we identify the specific structure sustaining the loop — the belief system, the wound pattern, the protective adaptation keeping it in motion — we can work with it directly. Not around it. Through it. This is where real movement becomes possible.

“Something different is trying to emerge in me. I just don’t trust it yet.”

Over time, self-trust returns — not as forced confidence, but as a steadier relationship with what your body, your inner life, and your own values are already showing you. We make that signal legible.

“I don’t want to rush myself into another version of performance.”

This work helps you stop building from urgency or image management — and begin living from a coherence that can actually hold. Over time, what becomes clear inside the sessions begins to show up in your choices, your rhythms, your relationships, and the way you inhabit yourself.

What this season is for

Metamorphosis is not only disruption. It is the reorganization of a life that is becoming more honest with itself. This work helps you stop enduring that process — and begin inhabiting it.

Introducing
The Belly Up
Private Immersion

A private 3-month 1:1 container for women in deep metamorphosis who need more than orientation — who need a space to stay with the process as it unfolds. This is not about fixing you. It is not about pushing you forward. It is about helping you understand what is dissolving, what is surfacing, and what needs to be honored, surrendered, and slowly embodied as this season moves through you.

How this work came to exist

Hi, I am Yvonne Richards. For more than 23 years, I have guided women through profound inner change — and I know from lived experience that some seasons require more than clarity. They require a relationship strong enough to hold transformation itself.

Core wound patterns

For years, I worked with women who were trying to understand why the life they had built no longer fit. Some arrived in visible crisis. Others were still functioning beautifully on the outside — while something much deeper had gone quiet, unraveled, or begun telling the truth inside them.

Again and again, I saw that one conversation could bring enormous relief. But some women needed more. They needed a space to remain in relationship with the process as it moved through them — a space where the phase could be understood, the wound patterns worked with, the nervous system genuinely supported, and the truths emerging inside them met without pressure or premature action.

What I have seen, again and again, is that when a woman stops trying to navigate this alone — when she has a skilled witness who can read what is actually happening in her process — the whole season becomes more workable. Less frightening. More directional.

After more than two decades of guiding women through this specific kind of change, I know this clearly: identity-level transformation is navigable. It requires someone who can read the signals your system is sending, identify the wound patterns shaping the experience — including when you are caught in a loop — and help you build the kind of inner steadiness this season actually demands. Not hand-holding. Not fixing. Skilled navigation, and the tools to take command of your own process.

Five pillars. One private container.

One

Phase Navigation

We keep locating where you are in the process as it evolves — because metamorphosis is not linear. This work helps you understand not only your dominant phase, but the thresholds, returns, and shifts that unfold over the months we work together.

Is this where you are?
Two

Identity-Level Transformation

We work with what is dissolving and what is surfacing — what your life can no longer be organized around in the same way. This is where the deeper identity shift becomes conscious, named, and workable.

Depth
Three

Wound and Pattern Integration

We identify the wound patterns and protective adaptations being activated in this season — including the recursive loops sustaining them — and work with them in a way that supports genuine integration, not reenactment.

The Pattern Beneath
Four

Nervous System Support

We pay close attention to what your nervous system is truly ready for, what needs to be slowed down or protected, and what helps your system begin to trust the process rather than brace against it.

Regulation
Five

Embodiment of a Truer Life

Over time, we begin translating what is becoming clear into a more lived coherence — in your rhythms, your choices, your boundaries, your relationships, and the way you inhabit yourself.

Why Belly Up?

Belly Up is the name of my Substack and the larger body of work this immersion belongs to.

In common language, “belly up” can mean something has collapsed, gone under, or stopped functioning as it once did. In this work, I use the phrase differently: as a symbol for the sacred and disorienting moment when the old way can no longer carry you, and something deeper begins to turn toward the surface.

Belly Up is not about failure. It is about the threshold where collapse becomes contact, where exposure becomes truth, and where a woman begins to meet the life that is asking to be born through her.

Not sure yet whether this is the right level of support?

The Mapping Session gives you the map. The Immersion gives you the map, the companionship, the recalibration, and the ongoing guidance to actually live through what the map reveals.

Some women begin with a single Metamorphosis Mapping Session first — a 90-minute private session that maps your phase, identifies the wound pattern most active right now, and helps clarify what kind of support this season genuinely calls for. If the Immersion is the right next step, that conversation will show us both.

Frequently Asked Questions

How is this different from the Metamorphosis Mapping Session?
+
The Mapping Session is a powerful single session for orientation, clarity, and immediate relief. The Belly Up Private Immersion is for women who need more than a map — they need someone to walk alongside them as the process unfolds. It offers continuity, depth, and a private container for working with the phase, wounds, nervous system, and embodiment over months, not hours.
Is this therapy?
+
No. This is not therapy, and it is not a substitute for mental health care. It is a private transformational container designed to support women moving through identity-level change. If you are also working with a therapist, this work can complement that support — it operates on a different level.
Do I need to know what phase I am in before applying?
+
No. You do not need to have that figured out. Part of the work is identifying where you are and how the process is evolving over time. Arriving without clarity is a completely normal way to begin.
What happens between sessions?
+
Between sessions, you have access to voice-note support — up to 2 voice notes per week, with a response from me within 48 business hours. This is not a daily check-in channel. It is a space for the moments that genuinely need grounded guidance before our next call.
Is this available in Spanish?
+
Yes. Private sessions are available in both English and Spanish. Please note your language preference when applying.
